Mateo Joel Chavez, 2 months old went home to be with his heavenly father unexpectedly May 4, 2025, in Farmington, New Mexico. He was born February 27, 2025, in Farmington, New Mexico, the son of Jack Chavez and Mother Marisa M. Rivera. In addition to his parents, Mateo was survived by many family members on both sides.
A Service will be held at 10:00am Thursday, May 29th, 2025, at Hills Church, 5101 N. Duston Avenue, Farmington, New Mexico. Mateo will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery. Those who wish to remember Mateo in a special way are welcome. All donations may be taken to Farmington Funeral Home, 2111 W. Apache St, Farmington, New Mexico.
