IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mona Rae
Taylor
March 9, 1950 – January 2, 2026
Mona Rae Taylor, 75, of Farmington, New Mexico passed away on January 2, 2026. She was born on March 9, 1950, in Farmington, New Mexico to Raymond Taylor and Laura Taylor.
Mona was a generous and giving woman. Her smile and laughter could light up any room no matter what. She always brought out the best in every situation in everybody's life. If she only had a little, she gave it away, she took care of anyone and always fed everyone. She was a college graduate with an amazing gift. No matter what the plant was, she could always make it grow and keep it green, even if it was almost completely dried up. She worked at Thriftway for about 20 years, mostly as an assistant manager. After that job she found a place to call her own, running the garden center at Hacienda Home center for about 7 years. Mona taught each one of her family members/friends how to love and keep their hearts open. Her hobbies were taking care of her plants, playing games on her computer, posting beautiful memories on Facebook, and hanging out with her friends from her golden days. Mona loved praising the Lord and being a part of the World Harvest Center Church and War Room. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She loved and lived her life to the fullest and was so ecstatic to reunite with her parents in heaven.
Preceded in death by her parents Raymond Taylor and Laura Taylor, brother Ronnie, and sisters Patricia, Jerry.
Mona is survived by her sons Dusty Taylor and Jason Norman, daughter Amber Norman, sister Claudine Harris, and grandchildren/ great-grandchildren: Damien, Isaiah, Onna, Jeremiah, Duprice, Mahria, Enzo, James, Adreyan, Mark, Angelo, Romeo, Jasmine, Ariel, Isabel
A celebration of life will be at 2:00 pm on January 20, 2026, at World Harvest Center Church.
