Nakia Eugene Jaramillo Jr., 30, of Farmington, NM passed away on December 28, 2025. He was born on March 25, 1995, in Gillette, WY to Nakia Eugene Jaramillo Sr. and Amber Jaramillo/Shelly Ledbetter.
Kia loved fishing, hunting, making music and most of all being a father. He loved spending time camping with the family. Enjoying Gods country. Kia loved to cook and try new foods. Always being the jokester and life of the party at any function. With a smile and laugh so bright that the whole world would stop. He loved his family, especially his dad who stood by him every step of the way, best friends is an understatement to describe the relationship they have.
He is proceeded in death by his grandparents Vicky & Leroy Jaramillo and Terry Ledbetter.
Kia is survived by Precious Jaramillo and Kyla Martinez, children Nathan Jaramillo, Neveah Jaramillo, and Natalia Jaramillo, parents Nakia Eugene Jaramillo Sr & Amber Jaramillo/ Shelly Ledbetter, siblings Erika & Napoleon Tafoya Sr, Napoleon Jr (Israel and Esaias), Frankie Jaramillo (Zephaniah and Abel), Cassey Ramirez, Gage Martinez Manus & Briana Martinez (Iris and Grey), and Sally Martinez, aunts & uncles Deana Phillips & Todd Tucker (Ashley Phillips), Brandi & Michael Maestas (Tristan Jaramillo, Anthony & Katy Jaramillo and Children), Alexis & Frank Hendershot (Donny & Kat and Children, Gage and Mathew), Eric Jaramillo (Amarie, Angel, Michael and Issac), Kelly Rainwater and children, JJ Ledbetter and children, Chris Ledbetter and children, Jacob Ledbetter, and grandma Ledbetter.
A viewing will be held at 11:30 AM-12:00 PM on January 2, 2026, at Hope City (308 W. Broadway (Farmington NM 87401308 W. BRO). A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM-1:00 PM. There will be a potluck at 2:00 PM at the church for anyone who would like to attend.
Pallbearers are Nicky Jaramillo, Frankie Jaramillo, Anthony Jaramillo, Tristan Jaramillo, Gage Hendershot, Mathew Hendershot, Frank Hendershot, Estevan Lobato, Gage Martinez and Michael Maestas.
