Norma Yagnich, age 79 of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday June 10, 2026. Norma was born on October 6, 1946, in Pueblo, Colorado to Arnold and Emma Bittman.

Norma was a talented and devoted quilter who lovingly created countless quilts for family, friends and loved ones. She cherished spending time outdoors and enjoyed camping and traveling across the country with her beloved husband Bob, creating treasured memories along the way.

Norma began her professional career at Midtown Bank in Pueblo, Colorado. She worked as an accountant for the federal government, where she was known for her attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.

Following her retirement, Norman and Bob moved to Farmington, New Mexico, where they enjoyed being close to their three cherished grandchildren. Family was the center of Norma's life, and she found great joy in spending time with those she oved most.

Norma has a remarkable gift for making people feel loved and welcomed. She was a second mother to many, including Jenny Ebner, and cherished the friendship she built throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Arnold and Emma Bittman, Sisters; Edna Bittman, Roberta Mendicello and Arna Atwater.

Surviving is her beloved husband Bob Yagnich, her daughter Nicole (Carlos) Murillo. Grandchildren; Anthony, Emma and Elias Murillo.

Her sister; June Byerly. Nieces and Nephews Cindy (Mike) Dussart, Ken (Denise) Byerly and Amanda (Jesse) Jacobs.

Per her wishes, there will be no formal services. Norma would want her legacy to live on through simple acts of kindness, love and care for one another.
