Pamela Adams

April 11, 1950 — June 26, 2023

Farmington

Pam left this earth on June 26, 2023 to begin her heavenly trip to meet up with her beloved husband Danny and many other family members and friends. At the time of her passing she was at home under the loving care of her daughter and son-in-law, Stacey & Jeff.

She was born April 11, 1950 in Farmington NM to Sylvan and Opal (Briggs) Jack.

Pamela grew up on the Navajo Reservation living in many different areas with her parents who were traders at the trading posts. During her high school years attending Chinle High School she met the love of her life, Daniel Adams. She also met her life-long friend, Vee Witt. After wedding Danny in the Spring of 1968, they welcomed their one and only child Stacey (Adams) Kelly. During this time they also became traders working at the trading posts in Salinas, Black Mountain and Piñon AZ. Stacey has many fond memories of her childhood. When Stacey began the sixth grade the family moved to east Texas to be closer to Danny's family. During this time Pamela put her secretarial skills to use. After 3 years in Texas they then moved back to Farmington and once again she worked various secretarial jobs for several businesses. In the Fall of 1986, Pam and Dan moved to Las Vegas NV to try something new. They began and operated their mobile home remodel and repair business which was a success. They met many elderly people and many more new friends. After 20 yrs in Las Vegas, they returned to Aztec to be closer to Stacey and their granddaughters, Kayla and Kelsi Lasater. Pam then began working at local convenience stores. After losing Dan to his battle with cancer in 2016 she began working at Roadrunner Fuels in Aztec. She absolutely loved her job there. She enjoyed her co-workers and "her regulars". She also enjoyed spending much of her time with her granddaughters and great-grandkids. They were the light of her life and she would do anything for them. She also spent her time and years making costumes, fairy gardens for anyone who asked, coloring in her coloring books and working in her yard.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Adams, parents, Sylvan and Opal Jack, and sister Joan Clark, as well as friends and other family members.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacey & Jeff Kelly, granddaughters, Kayla & Chris Gonzales, and Kelsi & Caleb Spellbring, and greats, Aubrianna, Noah, Aaleiah, Antonio, and Mia, as well as Danielle Kelly and Julian, Lexie Kelly and Deagan, and Derrick Kelly. Brothers & Sisters Ronald & Shirleen Jack, Oleen & Allan Barks, Bobby (Saundra) Jack, Nancy & Dick Knudsen, Darel & Patti Jack, Timothy & Donna Jack, and Nada (Bob) McConnell, as well as many special nieces and nephews.

At this time the family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Ron & Shirleen, Jack, Darel & Patti Jack, Nada McConnell and Denyse Rector for the help given to transport her to appointments as well as other assistance they were able to provide for her. We would also like to express our appreciation to Dr. Brett Clarke for his devotion to finding the best care and options he could for her. Dr. Binder at Mercy Medical Cancer Center for her straightforwardness and care. And to Marisol Hazen, Pam's personal caregiver from Basin Home Health for her compassion, care and gentleness, my mom was very fond of you.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 @ 10:00 am at the Red Mesa Cemetery in Red Mesa CO. Potluck to follow at the LDS church park in Red Mesa. Please join us in celebrating her life, joy, and love.
