Patricia A. Gunn, 87, of Farmington, NM, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly. She was born on August 3, 1937, in Mesa, Arizona, to Nasser Nick Romley and Rose Saba Romley.
Patricia dedicated her life to being a stay-at-home mother, a role she embraced with love and pride. She had a special talent for sewing, especially creating clothes for her daughters and she enjoyed spending time crocheting beautiful pieces. Patricia had a gift for gardening, often canning fresh peaches and tomatoes from her own backyard. She was also an incredible cook, pouring her heart into every meal she made for her family. Caring for her loved ones was her greatest joy, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Patricia is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years, Ronald J. Gunn; her parents, Nasser Nick and Rose Saba Romley; and her sisters Betty Ganem, Linda Dull Duvall, Ann Baker, and Frances Vitucci.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda L. Amon and her husband Owen Amon, and Rhonda L. Cooper and her husband Brian Cooper; her grandchildren, Colton J. Luman and wife Leaanda Berrett, Randa May Keith and husband Kevin Keith, and Lindsay Ann Stone and husband Travis Stone; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Rose Luman, Avalee Rose Luman, Emma Rose Luman, Koda Keith, and Lily Stone as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date to honor Patricia’s beautiful life and legacy.
