Robbin Lynn Briggs, 61, of Bloomfield, New Mexico, passed away on June 19, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado. Robbin was born on September 29, 1963, in Jacksonville, Florida to parents Robert Webb and Margaret (Peggy) Webb.
Robbin grew up in Charleston South Caroline and at a young age she would hold school for other kids in the neighborhood in her parents' front yard. She was always the teacher. She graduated from Stall High School in North Charleston. She attended Baptist College in South Carolina. In her younger years she worked primarily in the fast-food industry. She met her future husband Chris, a Navy sailor in February 1989 and got married in December 1989. After a short honeymoon at Disney World, they moved to Holy Loch, Scotland. She gave birth to her son, (Robert) there. Upon closing of the base in Holy Loch, Scotland, she took her son ahead to the next duty station- Kings Bay, Georgia. She got a job at La Petite Academy Pre School as a teacher. The family moved to Simpsonville, South Carolina where she remained at La Petite as a teacher. She worked her way up to Center Director. She worked at La Petite for 20 plus years. In 2005 her husband moved back to Bloomfield, New Mexico, she remained in South Carolina to take care of her ageing and ill parents. Chris and Robbin maintained their marriage for seven years until both of her parents passed. Robbin continued her career in early childcare while taking care of her parents in her home. In 2011 she was reunited with her husband in New Mexico. Robbin again got a job as a teacher in early childhood education at PMS, where she worked for another ten plus years. In 2023 she received her B.A. from Highlands University in New Mexico. Robbin was working with Save the Children Program until her passing. Robbin loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Robbin is preceded by her parents Robert and Margaret (Peggy) Webb, grandparents Buck Webb, Lucey Webb, Frank Zaborniak, and Mary Morgan Zaborniak.
Robbin is survived by her husband James Briggs, son Robert Briggs, sister April Webb, grandchildren Ava Briggs (10), and Tristan Briggs (4).
The family asks all donations to be made to Save the Children Foundation.
