It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roy Kyle John of Kirtland, NM on August 31, 2024, at 86 years of age. He was a beloved father and grandfather, cherished by all who knew him.

He went on to move to Bloomfield, NM, where he worked at a service station. At that time, the Navajo Dam construction project was starting, and he was hired as a heavy equipment operator, and was there for the duration of the completion of the dam. From there, he worked on road construction and dam construction. He helped build Morgan Lake. He was involved with building the San Juan Generation Station (previously PNM). He decided to try his luck with truck driving, so he hauled acid from Thompson, UT to Ray, AZ. He then got on as a coal hauler. He worked for Floyd Stock hauling candy and other goods from coast to coast. He got on at PNM Power Plant and worked there for a while. He then got on at Utah International Mining, which was bought out by BHP Billiton, and worked there until he retired.
Kyle Enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming and doing the jitterbug with anyone who would dance along. He enjoyed attending car shows. His presence will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Kyle Married Cheryl Tibbitts on August 24, 1963, in Cortez, CO. They were sealed for time and all eternity at the Manti, UT temple on August 19, 1972. Kyle held many church callings, and he loved his Savior.
