Santiago David Ramirez, age 49 of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday May 16, 2026. Santiago was born on December 26, 1976 in Denver Colorado to Anhelita Soto Trujillo and Pablo Cintas Ramirez.
Santiago was a beloved son, fiancé, brother, uncle and father whose kindness, humility and devotion to his family left a lasting impact on all who knew. His family meant everything to him, and he worked tirelessly to provide for and support them. He was known for his warm smile, willingness to help anyone in need and the positive impact he made on everyone he met. He recently earned his Commercial Driver's License (CDL) a milestone he was proud to achieve as he continued building his career with Waste Management as a roll-off driver.
Santiago cherished spending time with his family and took great pride in caring for the things he loved. He enjoyed working on his camper trailer maintaining his truck, building Lego creations and preparing meals for this around him. A talented cook, he found joy in sharing food and creating memories with his family. He also adored his beloved dogs, Lucy and Chiquita, who brought him companionship and happiness. He dreamed of owning property out in the country and eventually becoming a grandfather in the future.
Above all Santiago was a man of deep faith. He loved God wholeheartedly and remained steadfast in his beliefs. He found comfort and inspiration in listening to scripture and living according to his faith. Santiago will be remembered for his gentle spirit, strong work ethic, loving heart and the countless ways he brought joy to the lives of this around him.
Santiago was preceded in death by his brothers: Angel Soto and Pablo M. Ramirez. His sister: Dulcinea Ramirez
Surviving are his Mother Anhelita S. Trujillo, stepdad: Freddie D. Trujillo and his father Pablo C. Ramirez. Finance: Chelsea R. Deleon.
Son: Santiago A. Ramirez, Daughters: Taylor A. Ketsdever, Cadence L. Ramirez and Cassia L. Ramirez. Stepchildren: Alexus Archibeque, Nicholas Archibeque and Gabriel Ruvalcaba.
Brothers: Nicholes S. Trujillo and Brandon J. Trujillo.
The holy rosary will be recited on Tuesday June 16th, 2026, at 9:30 AM followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 410 N Allen Ave., Farmington, NM 87401. Reverend Timothy W. Farrell officiating. Interment will follow mass at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church-Columbarium.
