Stephen Patrick Maurer

Stephen Patrick Maurer, born January 1,1973 in Farmington, NM passed from this life December 23, 2025. He had the privilege of being the first baby of the new year and won all the prizes and had his picture on the front page of the Daily Times. He graduated from FHS and went on to get a degree in Hotel-Resort Management from NM State. 

He is survived by his daughter, Ella Grace Maurer, parents Pat and Shirley Maurer, sister Jennifer Hood and husband Jeremy, brother Marc Maurer and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins as well as his best friends since childhood Chris, Mat Jeremy, Colin and many more friends he made throughout the years. He loved fishing and golfing and going hunting with family and friends. Rest in peace.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 11th, at 11:00 at the Farmington Civic Center in the Bisti Totah Room.
