Sue Ann Culbertson, age 62 of Bloomfield, New Mexico, passed away on Thursday at her residence surround by her loved ones. She was born on May 30, 1963, in Mount Vernon, WA. To Carl William and Helen "Jackie" Scholle.

She was raised in a military family. She moved frequently, living in cities across all four corners of the United States. Once her father retired from the Navy, the family returned to Silver city, New Mexico.

She was a worthy advisor in the International Order of Rainbow for Girls. She also participated in school sports and graduated with honors from Silver City High School.

After high school, she attended the University of New Mexico, where she met the love of her life Kenny Culbertson. They married on October 31, 1981, in Silver City. They built their life together in Bloomfield, New Mexico, where they raised three children: Rebecca, Ryan, and Jessica.

She had two grandchildren, Michael and Jasen, whom she loved dearly.

Throughout her life, she worked several jobs, from manager at Long John Silver's, to bank teller, to Sonic carhop, but her most cherished role was that of a homemaker to her loving family.

She had a deep love for Jesus and never hesitated to share her faith with anyone and everyone. She was a member of Desert Heights Church, where she helped with Sunday School.

She had an artistic sprit and loved to paint and draw. She enjoyed spending time in the garden and never shied away from getting her hands dirty. She also shared her husband's passion for hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors.

Sue was loved by many and will be missed by all. She loved with her whole heart and had a profound impact on everyone around her. She was always ready for the next challenge or a new adventure. Our hearts are broken by our loss of her, but we find comfort and peace knowing she is resting in the arms of Jesus.
