Susan Louise Edasi

Susan Louise Edasi, age 77 of Aztec, passed away Sunday May 10, 2026, at her residence. Susan was born on January 12, 1949, in Valentine, Nebraska to Helen and Cecil Todd.

Susan was a teacher in North and South Dakota. She moved to Farmington, New Mexico in 1981 working at San Juan college as an administrative assistant. She eventually moved to California in 1986 following her marriage to Gerard and started to work at The National Cash Register Manufacturing Company in Garden Grove., returning to Aztec, New Mexico in 2004 following her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Helen and Cecil Todd, Maternal grandparents William and Maude Hammond and Paternal grandparents Lyle and Jennie Todd.

Surviving are her husband of 42 years Gerard (Gerry) Edasi of Aztec, her sister Marsha Wood of Aztec. One niece Nicole (J.T.) Todd, two nephews Aaron (Mary) Briggs and Jared Briggs. Cousins: Cheri (Dan) Conkling Janice Kelly and William Skinner. And many friends.

Per Susan's wishes cremation will take place and she will be laid to rest in South Dakota at a later date.
