Susan Marie Michaels

Susan was born on August 28, 1950, in New York City to the late Nancy and Frederick Michaels. She Later moved to Southern California to live with her sister where she met her first husband, and they began raising their family. In 1992, the family relocated to New Mexico, where Susan spent her later years residing in Aztec. She is survived by her children: Richard Spencer, Marianne Harmon, Michael Spencer, Brian Spencer, Corey Spencer, and Carrie Richardson. Susan also leaves behind 10 wonderful grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Spencer, her sister, Mildred Michaels; her parents-in-law, Paul & Patricia Spencer, with whom she shared a close bond; her Daughter-in-law Tangy Spencer, and her grandson, Paul Spencer.

Throughout her life, she found great pride and enjoyment in her role as a grandmother. Susan also was known for her immense love and compassion for animals- whether a beloved pet at home or a creature in need. Her kindness truly knew no boundaries. Her generosity and spirit and gentle nature will be remembered by all who knew her.
