Taylor Russell

Taylor Russell was born December 19, 1956 in Farmington, NM to Pauline Jacques and Hosteen Nez Begay. He passed away unexpectedly March 25th, 2023, at the young age of 66. He was born for The Bitter Water Clan and The Water Flow Together Clan.

He is preceded in death by his father Hosteen Nez Begay, his brother Roger Tsosie, and sister Vernita Jose. He is survived by his wife Anita Russell of 44 years they have three children Heather Leigh Mike (Nelly), Lisa Russell (Kody), Kevin. He also has three grand fur children Zim, Daisy and Sweety. He is also survived by his siblings Glenn Russell (Laverne), Nelson Russell, Samuel Tsosie, Julia Largo, Evelyn Lewis (Leroy), Marilyn Tsosie, Vida Jose (Danny), and Alida Denetchee (Adrian).

Taylor was a hard working man, he worked for Cimmaron Oil Field for many years and then left to work for Dugan Production where he retired in 2014. He loved spending quality time with his family and enjoyed going on road trips to see different scenery. He was a man of Faith and loved going to praise the Lord each Sunday. He enjoyed working around the house to keep himself busy and was very hands on with many things. He was a very humorous man to those who knew him. He never said no to anybody that had asked him for help. Taylor will be deeply missed by many friends and family.

Graveside services are pending at this time as well as a celebration of life. He will be cremated and buried next to his brother Roger Tsosie near Gallegos Wash at the Family Plot.
