Thomas James Johnson

We are sad to announce the passing of Thomas J. Johnson of Socorro, NM. He passed away surrounded by his loved ones on April 21^st, 2023 after a long battle with C.O.P.D.

Thomas was born on November 12^th, 1945 to John and Josephine.

Tom held many positions in his life. He was in the US Army for 17 years where he served abroad in Europe and as a veteran of the Vietnam war. He also worked as a miner and in the food service industry which he retired from as the head chef at Denny’s in Socorro. His favorite role, however, was being a father. He enjoyed spending time with his adult children Mary (Greg) Blanck, Susan Lujan, Crystal (Alex) Ferrer and Ylona Unale. Tom also had many grand kids and great grand kids.
