Travisano
Jun 2, 1944 — Sep 6, 2026
Bloomfield
Thomas Travisano, 82, passed away on September 6, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Tom was born on June 2, 1944, in Newark, New Jersey, where he was raised and lived until moving to the Phoenix area in 1977. After retiring, he enjoyed many years in Pinetop, Arizona, before the final chapter of his life brought him to Bloomfield, New Mexico.
Tom dedicated decades of his career to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. He began his service as a detention officer on November 21, 1979, and later served as a deputy sheriff until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; his sons, Michael and Robert; his daughters, Shelly Larson, Jennifer Grant, Stacey Wyler, and Ashley Albright; 15 grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Harley.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor Landmesser and Patrick Pasquale; his sister, Patricia Hayberg; and his former wife, Carol.
Tom was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His greatest loves were his family and his dogs. He remained proud of his New Jersey roots throughout his life and also had a lifelong appreciation for firearms and cars. Beneath his gruff exterior was a tender heart, especially when it came to his grandchildren, whom he loved deeply and with unwavering devotion. They were among the greatest joys of his life.
