Thornton Lee Ashbrook, Jr., 63, of Farmington, passed away June 10th. He was born April 17, 1955 in Kimball, NE. to Thornton and Nadine Ashbrook. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

After his military service with the Army he was a plumber in the Farmington area. He was known for his signature red hat and loved by many.

Thornton was preceded in death by his parents, Thornton “Chink” and Nadine Ashbrook; sisters, Janice Wick, Karen Dee Stone, Delores Charlie and Monique Trujillo.

He is survived by his loving wife Karen Ann Ashbrook; sons Thornton Lee Ashbrook (IV), Chad (Nicole) Ashbrook; daughter Kelsey (J.D.) McDaniel; sisters Linda Harnden, Beverly Bardin and Priscilla Trujillo; grandchildren Jachob Hansel, Madilyn Davis, CJ Ashbrook and Grace McDaniel. His grandchildren were his four-favorite people in the world.

There will be a private family service at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Spencer, Brent Albin, James Hunter, Gabriel Macias, Larry Henry and Dusty March.
