Tommy Harland Jourden

Tommy Harland Jourden, 81, of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026. Tommy was born on February 20, 1945, in Fort Worth, Texas, to his parents, Oleta Jaunice Stegall Price and William Jourden.

Tommy was a hardworking and adventurous man who worked as a plumber and welder. He enjoyed flying and scuba diving and loved the outdoors, especially horseback riding, camping, fishing, and hunting. Tommy was also a fan of westerns and the music of Hank Williams. He was proud of his accomplishments, including his record-setting buffalo fish catch.

Tommy cherished his family and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the many memories he created with those closest to him.

Tommy was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Darin Jourden.

He is survived by his wife, Lavon Jourden; his daughter, Donna Jourden; his grandchildren, Jessica Lucero, Tyler H. Jourden, Cody D. Jourden, and Tandra Lavon Jourden; and his great-grandchildren, Livia Coddington, Tommy Coddington, Braxton Lucero, Brynlee Lucero, Levi Jourden, and Kestler Jourden.

Graveside services for family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 10, at 1:00 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Tommy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
