Traydell Kris Tyler, age 21, passed away on August 11,2026. He was born on July 18th 2005 in Farmington, NM to his mother Natalie Cook. His clans are Tł’ááshchí’í, Táchii’nii, Bit’ahnii, and Hooghan Łání.

Traydell was a young and strong man who was known by his family and friends for his stern yet welcoming personality. He had a genuine love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping, biking, and spending time in nature.

Traydell developed a passion for cars through the guidance and mentorship of his maternal grandfather, Barney Cook. He graduated from Bloomfield High School and, shortly thereafter, proudly enlisted in the United States Army. In July 2026, he completed his training as a Military Police Officer with the U.S. National Guard at Fort Leonard Wood.

Beyond his accomplishments, Traydell was a person who found joy in the simple things he loved. He had a deep affection for his three cats and cherished every opportunity to ride a horse. He enjoyed grilling and cookouts with family and friends, and he loved attending car meets, where he could share his passion for cars with others. His adventurous spirit, love of the outdoors, dedication to his family, and commitment to serving his country will remain treasured memories for all who knew and loved him.

Traydell will be remembered for his strength, determination, kind heart, and the lasting impression he made on the lives of those around him.

Traydell is survived by his mother Natalie Cook, His brothers Koa Rockwell and Lydell Tyler his sisters, Rocknei Rockwell and Shantel Tyler, his grandparents Barney Cook and Salena Dickie and his nieces Kaydenn Delgado and Promesa Delgado.

Services for Traydell will be held on Friday, August 21st 2026, with a public viewing starting at 10:00 AM and Funeral services starting at 11:00 AM.

Serving as pallbearers are: Lydell Tyler, Ziaire Shorty, D’andre Shorty, Patrick Shorty, Koa Rockwell, and Julian Delgado.
