Vernon Hentz

Vernon Theodore Hentz (82), of Bloomfield, NM, passed away on August 08, 2023. Vernon was born in Peoria, Illinois on September 17, 1940, to Lawrence & Elizabeth Hentz. Vernon was a veteran of the US Army. Vernon was employed and retired from the brass foundry in Peoria, IL. He enjoyed woodworking, was a volunteer at Three Sisters Park in Chilicothe, IL for 3 years, was a member of Moose Lodge, and UAW.

Vernon is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence & Elizabeth Hentz, and his brothers, Gary, Gerald, and Jerry.

Vernon is survived by his wife, Henrietta Hentz; his son, Timothy (DeAnna); his daughter, Tara Lynn; his sister, Marilyn; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Amber, Cody, and Karlee.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Vernon on August 26, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, at the VFW Post 614 in Aztec.
