Violeta Clark

Violet Carpio Clark of Farmington, NM passed from this life on July 12, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents Carlos and Evangeline Van Hoven. She was born in Manila, Philippines on September 19, 1944. She earned a degree in nursing and served as a registered nurse Captain in the United States Air Force. In her younger days she loved to play tennis and golf. She was active in numerous community organizations in San Juan County through the years. Vi loved the outdoors and was a passionate animal advocate. She loved being a mother and grandmother and was the heart of her family. She is survived by her husband Dr. Stephen B. Clark as well as children: Dr. Jeffrey (Dr. Candice), Jason, and Caroline (Doug). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Adeline, Conner, and Collin as well as several siblings and extended family members. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Farmington Animal Shelter.
