Virginia Wallace

Virginia L. (Jenny) Wallace passed away November 11, 2022 surrounded by family. Virginia was born in Corbin, Kentucky on August 22, 1942 to Hazel and Burl Brooks. Virginia married Richard (Dick) Lee Wallace.

Jenny was preceded in death by her husband Richard (Dick) Lee Wallace. Jenny leaves behind three sons, Michael Stephen (Brenda), Michael Alan (Noemi), Rich (Josie) and one daughter Leanne (John), nine grandchildren Shawn, Kaitlyn, Angela, Renee, Erica, Tabby, Chelsie, Marissa, Briana and thirteen great grandchildren.

Jenny was married to the love of her life for 53 years and missed him dearly when he passed in 2014. She was very proud of her family, especially her grandkids. Jenny was always the life of the party and loved to dance. She had an opinion about everything. She had the biggest heart, a great sense of humor and was always making us laugh. Jenny was tough and stubborn, even in her last days, you couldn't tell her what to do. Jenny has always been a fighter and she continued to fight to the very end. She said what was on her mind and had the courage to do what was right and never hesitated to speak up for things that were not. Jenny was a great support for her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She was always their greatest cheerleader. Jenny also had many rescue dogs throughout her life which she adored. She was a great mom, wife, friend, grandma and great grandma. She will be missed.

Services will be held for Virginia Wallace on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Farmington Funeral Home with Tim Castillo officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery at 12:00 PM in Farmington, New Mexico.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the San Juan Cancer/Oncology or the Farmington Animal Shelter is appreciated.
