Waylon J. Tsosie

Waylon J. Tsosie, 35, of Upper Fruitland, New Mexico passed away on July 8, 2026, in Farmington, New Mexico. Waylon was born on August 13, 1990, in Farmington, New Mexico to parents Etta Tsosie and Andy Tsosie. Waylon was born to the Mountain Cove Clan and born for the Coyote Pass.

Waylon graduated from Kirtland High School. He loved playing the guitar, he also loved to bead, as well as baking and grilling. He took special care of his family. He always made sure his siblings were taken care of and helped raise them. He always made sure everyone was fed and ready for school every day. He also loved to work at the family business Etta’s Kitchen.

Waylon is preceded by his brother Jeremiah Tsosie and grandparents John Charlie and Arlene Charlie.

Waylon is survived by his parents Andy Tsosie and Etta Tsosie, brothers Jerrell Tsosie, Emmitt Tsosie, and Troy Tsosie, and sister Evang.

Pallbearers are Amos Jr. Charlie, Clay Cockerell, Nick Victor, Jernell Tsosie, Emmitt Tsosie, and Troy Tsosie.
