William Michael Boan, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, at San Juan Regional Hospital. He was born on February 25,1952 in Farmington to Barbara Huntington Boan and William H Boan.

Mike grew up in Cortez, Colorado, where he played football and graduated from Cortez High School. He later attended the University f New Mexico before beginning a career in construction building Circle-K stations throughout several states. He eventually owned and operated his own small business for a while.

He is survived by his daughters, Hannah Boan and Meg Boan. His niece Heather Fogle, her husband, Dan and their daughter Emily, also survived by his cousin Gary Huntington and his wife Sibyl. Gary held a particularly special place in Mike's life, standing by him with unwavering kindness, care, and love when he needed it most. His presence and compassion meant more than words can expr ss. Mike was also blessed to have a special friend, Patricia Gonzales, who brought kindne s, companionship, and warmth into his life. Her friendship was a meaningful part of Mike' journey, and the care she showed him will always be remembered.

Mike will also be lovingly remembered by his Iongtime friends Traci Feri, Wanda Welch, Daniel Arnold, Jr, Troy, Donna and their family long with all those whose lives he touched along the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willam H and Barbara Huntington Boan, and his sister Patricia "Patty" Boan Sellard Robinson.

Per his wishes cremation will take place and no services are scheduled at this time.
