William Duncan

William (Bill) G. Duncan, aged 73, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025. Born on May 16, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas, he was the son of William H. and Annie Mae Duncan, who preceded him in death.

Bill, an individual with a vibrant spirit, was a proud graduate of Farmington High School. He had a profound passion for music and spent many years playing the drums in both Rock-N-Roll and country western bands. Music was not just a pastime for him but a cherished highlight of his professional journey. In addition to his musical talents, he demonstrated his leadership skills while serving as the manager of the Singer Sewing Machine Company for nine years and excelled as a salesperson for numerous companies throughout his career.

In his community, Bill was well-known for his dedication to coaching soccer, guiding young athletes from Farmington High School, Black Cats, and Sting teams. His love for sports extended beyond coaching; he was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, sharing in the excitement and camaraderie that came with every game.

Bill's interests were as eclectic as his career; he found joy in fishing, gardening, and the artistry of making candles and jewelry. However, one of his greatest pleasures came from watching his grandson play football, a testament to his deep love for family.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Benet Duncan, his daughter Brittney Duncan, his son Brandon Duncan, and his grandchildren Coral Duncan and Peyton Duncan, along with his great grandchild Chevelle Garcia. He also left behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who will cherish his memory.

While no services are scheduled at this time, the impact Bill had on those around him will continue to resonate, honoring a life well-lived and full of love and laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
