Cora DeAnda was born June 10, 1945 to Manual and Frances DeAnda in Alpine, Texas.
She moved to Aztec, NM with her parents and siblings in 1956. Cora loved taking scenic drives and was our family historian as she loved telling us the history of our family traditions, heritage and always loved sharing and teaching all of us the great DeAnda Family recipes.
Cora will be remembered by her spunky personality, great sense of humor, hard work ethics, big heart, and kindness for others.
Cora was surrounded by son Ronnie Herrera and 3 nieces Yvonne John, Ruby Maner and Vanessa St. Vrain at the time of her passing. She was preceded in death by John DeAnda (brother), Delma DeAnda (sister), Tony (Hoaky) Herrera (son), Ernest DeAnda (brother), and Manual and Frances DeAnda (parents).
She is survived by Ronnie Herrera (son), Dian (Denver) Jones (sister) and Bernie (Pat) DeAnda (brother). She had many nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She will be dearly missed by many and will forever be in our hearts.
