Eva Mae Godfrey, 67, of Farmington, NM., passed away on May 4th, 2020. She was born June 10, 1952 in Denver, CO to Woody Emerson and Bernice Hunnington.
Eva moved to Farmington in the early 70s, where she worked as a bar manager/bartender. She worked for liberty Construction for 10 years. Then retired to spend more time with family. She loved to crochet and cooking for barbecues. She was famous for her wildly painted finger nails.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband Ernie Godfrey; parents Woody Emerson and Bernice Huntington and brother Wayne Emerson.
She is survived by her son Robert Sims; step-son Carl Godfrey; step daughter Eve Boellstorff and her little dog Tater; grandchildren Dallas Sims and Samantha Sims; great-grandchildren Natalia Sims, Caydence Sims and Abigail Sims.
There will be a service at a later date.
