Gilbert Rivera

Gilbert Rafael Rivera, 85, of La Plata, passed away on February 20th. He was born July 12, 1934 in Albuquerque to Rafael and Manuela Rivera.

Gilbert was a loving and generous man, He was a UNM Alumnus and after 46 years retired as a pharmacist, a career he loved. Gilbert is survived by 4 of his siblings, 4 of his children, 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Rafael Rivera, his brother Andres Rivera, his sister Guadalupe Rivera, his daughter Sylvia Rivera and his grandson Daniel Rivera.

Services will be held Monday March 02, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 N. Allen Ave, Farmington NM.
