Marcella Rose (Klaus) Ricord passed away 12/24/20 after a short illness (not COVID). She was born 08/03/46 in Garden City, Kansas to Tony and Eva Klaus. She met the love of her life in October of 1964 and they were married December 21st, 1964. They were blessed with four children. They moved various times thorough out their married lives finally settling in Farmington, NM. She was a devout catholic, loving mother and grandmother. She loved to make crafts and spend time with friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Tony and Eva Klaus, brothers John Klaus, Tony Klaus, Robert Klaus, and Albert Klaus, sisters Theresa Norton and Margaret Becker and granddaughter Marissa Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Charles, sons Charles Ricord Jr (Dashelle), Gerald Ricord, daughters Teresa (Kyle) Lincoln and Marsha (Jason) Smith. Grandchildren Eric Wright, Samantha Ricord, Garrett Peebles, Greg Larson, Devin Jones, Sierahlyn Graves, Christopher, Victoria and Colton Lincoln, Katarina, Alyssa and Taylor Smith and two great grandchildren, Ari and Ella Wright. Brothers Don Klaus of Garden City, Kansas, Kenneth Klaus of Montrose, Colorado and sister Dorothy Decker from Coffeyville, Kansas. Last but not least, her grand puppy Ginger.
Rosary will be January 6, 2020 at 9 am followed by memorial mass at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiated by Father Tim Farrell.
Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic School, 404 N. Allen Ave, Farmington, NM 87401.
